Demo site. Bear Notch Roofing is not a real business. This is an example of a Designed site built by MWV Software. Or see what a Starter site looks like.

Gutters and drainage

Gutters here have to survive things gutters elsewhere never meet.

Built heavier on purpose

A gutter in the valley carries ice, catches sliding snow, and gets hit by whatever comes off the roof in a thaw. We hang seamless gutter on closer spaced, heavier hangers than a catalogue specification, because the standard spacing is written for somewhere that does not do this.

Where the water goes

A downspout that ends at the foundation has moved the problem rather than solved it. We run them out and away, and on a wet lot underground to daylight if the grade allows.

Guards, honestly

Gutter guards help with leaves and do very little about ice. Anyone selling them as an ice dam fix is selling you the wrong thing, and the actual fix is up in the attic.
