Finding where the water actually gets in is most of the work.
Leaks
Water rarely enters where it appears. It runs along a rafter and shows up ten feet away, which is why a repair that starts with a bucket of tar where the stain is usually fails by spring.
We trace it properly: flashing at chimneys and walls, valleys, plumbing boots, nail pops, and the ice and water membrane at the eave that may never have been there.
Storm damage
After a wind event we will get up, photograph what is missing or lifted, and give you something written you can hand to an adjuster. We do not inflate a claim and we will tell you if there is not one.
When a repair is the wrong answer
On a roof that is already twenty years old, a patch buys a season and complicates the tear-off. We will price both and let you choose with the numbers in front of you.
